Web Design in a Nutshell? Some nut! This nut has 27 chapters crammed onto 560 pages, all overflowing with information. Undeterred I began to read and soon discovered that it is not a book for reading, but more a desktop reference.
The information contained on the pages is informative, accurate and covers everything from creating a site, that's accessible to a variety of browsers, right through to using multimedia and interactivity in a site. There's also an excellent section on HTML. The book is mostly text so if you are looking for inspirational images to help create a Web site, look somewhere else. If you are looking for help, like I was, learning about web design, then this is the book for you. If used alongside a computer for learning it's priceless, if you want something to read in bed join readers digest.
An excellent learning and reference guide.
