If you like flowers, love colour, enjoy shapes, want to be creative, you will be inspired with this superb book. I say inspired because there is no technical advice, just great pictures without words. The captions are all at the end with a short biog of the worldwide photographers. The cost is the only drawback, although it's now available far cheaper at online retailers such as Amazon.

This pictorial diary of Sporting Life photographer Walter Looss is a feast of sports pictures, humourous headlines cuttings and scribblings. It's almost like a monty python style book without the humour. There are some fascinating portraits shot on large format Polaroid, along with some wonderful images from all areas of sport.
