Judge's Write Up
Our sponsor, Amazing Internet were the judge of this competition with the theme the Seven Deadly Sins
Tom Hardy and Andrew Skirrow chose the following images as winners:
Red lips with tongue by Nina Krogstad. A striking image which works as a photo and for the theme without being so obvious. It wins hands down as it has some intrigue and draws you in without being too obvious or printing the name "lust" on the side.
ePHOTOzine editor Pete adds. I'm glad you picked this one without any influence from me. I would have done the same and, actually did choose this as POTW recently.
Steve Langton's Envy gets the reportage prize as it captures a moment with humour and works well as an image.
Asha's shot of a girl with the cat takes third place. It's not so obvious, but works as an image and does show jealousy without bashing you on the head with it.
Forth place goes to Eleanor Gannon who's image is a powerful view of anger with an interesting composition.
