This was easy to pick a shortlist, but it's been the hardest competition in the life of ePHOTOzine to pick just one winner out of that incredibly good shortlist. We really liked ManinBlacks orange theme – a simple, very clean and clear message about one colour. Photosport1's clown with graffiti backdrop and, on a similar slant, markscholey's model shot – are both powerful portraits with lots of impact. bunni_boi's matching eyes and lolly caught our eye, as did teepees vivid colour paint buckets – both shout out colour. We also looked in awe at DavidChamberlai's complicated composite - an incredible work of Photoshop skill to create a superb interpretation of the Clockwork Orange.

Which would you pick? In the end we chose teepee's buckets because it was the most colourful, as well as being a good well executed idea.
