This month's entries were reduced from 384 to a shortlist of 50 and then guest judge, Richard Chaff of the prize sponsor AVITechnologies Ltd www.avisolutions.co.uk, picked the winners.
"My choices with a brief word are:
1st Martin Stewart, strong and bold, clean, sharp, stands out well.
2nd Tyree Bourne, I like the Escher feel and asymmetry.
3rd Tracy Simpson, a well-seen take on everyday view hangs together well as cube
4th Andy Crellin, a nice touch with cube in numbers, although the shadows are distracting and unflattering.
A special mention for Kris Smith's window. I like the light forming the illusion of a near-cube very much indeed, and this would have been well in contention if the effect had been more nearly cube shaped. "
