The July Competition, with the theme Double, attracted a wide variety of ideas with submissions including just about every take on the theme.

We hope you agree that the shortlist displays some outstanding examples of good competition photography and the four winning entries are excellent.

First place goes to Chris Miles, for a simple, but beautifully placed and lit pair of cherries. Well done Chris!
Annaliesa takes second place with another of her now familiar digital facial treatments.
Aleksey Lapkovsky comes a close third with a superb double take.
And no stranger to our comps, Bob Garas, takes fourth place with another of his classic still life sets.
