RGB Awards

Providing an amazing opportunity for experienced and new photographers alike, the RGB Awards are set to become a prestigious annual event. With exhibition opportunities, magazine articles and substantial cash prizes, the awards offer an exciting chance to reach an international audience. The RGB Awards recognise excellence in photography and the selection panel includes award winning photographers and industry figures who have a mass of experience at recognising talent.
The Awards are not themed so all photographic images are welcome with a maximum of 4 per photographer. The RGB Awards are self-funding and are supported by a number of high profile sponsors; all sponsorship and submission fees will be reinvested in the Awards, the finalists exhibition and in other related activities.

Prizes

Exhibition

The RGB Awards selection panel will select around 50 photographs to be included in a finalists exhibition at the Grant Bradley Gallery in Bristol. The work will be exhibited for a month during the Bristol Festival of Photography ensuring huge visitor numbers.

Best Single Image

The winner of Best Single Image will receive £1000 and will have the work featured in Vignette magazine.

Best Set of Images

The winner of Best Set of Images will win £250 cash, £250 vouchers for photographic lab Photographique and a 4 page feature in Vignette. Please note to be considered for this prize, all submitted images must be from the same body of work.

Other prizes

In addition to the 2 main prizes there are a number of genre based awards with prizes from for valued sponsors. These include: Best Portrait, Best Landscape, Best Fine-Art, Best Documentary and Best Commercial image.
