The London Region of the RPS is delighted to announce its participation in this year’s Urban Photo Fest. For the first time, the UPF will incorporate a major new, and exciting, urban photographic competition, with a range of stunning prizes.
Prizes include:
•The opportunity for the three winners to be represented by Photo Democracy - an arm of the prestigious Chris Beetles Gallery (Courtesy of Chris Beetles)
•A (soon to be released) Olympus EP-5 camera, with lens and viewfinder (courtesy of Olympus)
•A place on Goldsmith College’s Urban Photography Summer School (Courtesy of Goldsmith College)

The competition comprises four categories: Abstraction, Architecture, Environment and Objects. The cost of entry is £10 for a maximum of four images. Deadline for entry is 31st August and the winners will be announced in September.

The competition will be judged by a four person team, including legendary Magnum photographer Chris Steele Perkins, Giles Huxley-Parlour (Photo Democracy), Paul Halliday (Centre of Urban and Community Research) and Del Barrett ARPS (RPS London Region).
