A record number of entries were submitted this month, and there where some real crackers. Snow scenes, daffodils and sheep were in their plenty, along with some less obvious seasonal choices. The shortlist took a while to sift through, but we finally have our winners.
In first place is a shot, or should we say shots, of a scenic Glencoe, taken by Scott Murray. Scott had the patience to go back to the same spot to record the four seasons perfectly. We have snow, sun, stormy weather and autumnal glows - all from the same viewpoint. We think your effort deserves the grand prize of an Olympus Digital SLR kit. Well done Scott.
2nd place is a typical British summer holiday view by Paul Stott - blue sky, seagull, tourist flags, holiday apartments and amusement lights. It delivers the summer season feeling with simplicity. The fact is that we get few of these summer days, and more often than not it will be raining so Paul should value his prize of a waterproof Olympus mju 1030 SW compact.
3rd place goes to Gary McParland for his beautiful Autumnal sunrise. Sadly there's no third prize, but taking third place with over 1300 entries is something to talk about.
4th place is taken by Pawel Pietraszewski with a timelapse sequence of a daffodil opening. Unmistakable Spring and a fine capture.
Well done to all the winners, shortlisted few and thanks to everyone who entered. Good luck with the next one.
