The 199 steps at Whitby, Yorkshire leading up to St Mary's Churchyard -- yes, I walked all the way UP and all the way DOWN ! I used my wide-angle 50mm f4 CFi Distagon T* lens.

I saw you standing there, legs apart, holding steady and I had to laugh. Here is someone who says screw the rules and gets the image, and y'know...it works!
Your shadow actually makes a good composition better. Refreshing downward view on the windows and railings tieing things in together. Top Notch! TG
Tony from Canada --- I didn't know YOU SAW ME at Whitby -- if I had known I would have asked you for a 'stack of Pancakes with Maple Syrup ' !!!
Oh, in a snap. You would have been shocked at the way i pour on the maple syrup though. TG
I love the shadow. To think - all those photographers who have agonised over how to avoid seeing their shadow when shooting with the sun behind them !
I do wonder how good it would have been without your shadow there - still a strong image I suspect.....Peter
I did a 16x12" Darkroom print of this on Glossy Multigrade IV and it won an award at my Club !
