Excellent timing on v1 and both compositions look good to me. The background with the noise/colour/snow is perfect, and the presentation tops it off. Two great images Annette.

V1 is definitely the stronger image, by many miles. It has the softness of snow and flight. It's the antithesis to ID shots, all obsessively pin-sharp feathers and no soul. This really is very beautiful. It's about tiny lives surviving in harsh conditions. Love it.

Annette, this shot is WONDERFUL! I love the pattern of the birds "in the queue" and the motion blur of the one that just took off is perfect. Very nice edge effect as well. And -- I love the title.

I'm adding grain to my images these days Wink, but what are you using for noise removal. There are so many on the marked and I wondered what you have and how you like it.
