I took this photo for my photo 52 challenge, this weeks theme was flow. I know this is a shot that has been done hundreds of times but it hasn't been done by me, and as I'm still new to flash photography it was quite a challenge! My flash triggers wouldn't trigger my flash so I settled for a soft box behind some card which gave this halo graduated effect! As the flash gun was triggered by the cameras in built flash I edited out the tiny stray streaks of flash from the glass.
