I had coughed my way through most of the night and had decided to get out of bed to give the wife some peace - she needed to get to work, unlike I. Sat at the pc the coughing persisted so I had the brainwave of getting out of the house...at least Deb wouldnt hear my coughing. Looking at the time (it was 4.15am) I decided that this would be the perfect time to shoot the town clock - no people about and it was a shot a mate of mine had done on his way to work one day and I had always wanted to have a go. So there I was 15 mins later shivering and coughing in the middle of our town centre at some ungodly hour! The clock has been here a number of years and it was nice to get a clean shot of it..... don't ask the reason for the large metals balls either as I do not know - there are more of them but for this shot I wanted just 5 of them in the shot to correspond with the time - "Just about 5" ![]()
