I LOVE this shot -- not your usual beach scene. Perfect timing on your part -- not only getting the woman at just the right spot but the bird as well.
However (you know this is coming) -- a bit grainy.

Were you in a hot air balloon to get this shot, Annette?WinkWink
Love the diagonal composition with the single line of footsteps echoing the edge off the waves, and you have the runner well placed with plenty of space to tear along into.
Very nice shot, my friend.
Ronnie.

Love this, the different directions pulling against each other - the lady's footprints, her shadow, the flight of the gull. The red of her costume just lifts the image, gives it a bit of bite. Great use of portrait to, by the way.

Good diagonal elements in the comp and excellent shadows but no-one has mentioned that lovely swirly water, Annette. The detail and texture in that and the sand is wonderful. So much of interest to be had.
