Lots of wonderful diagonals, the main one being the hand rail. It's not quite as powerful as the upright version but still very good indeed Derek, fine wok with wonderful detail.

Struck gold with this one, Derek. I knew you'd have some other angles Grin. The brightness in the sky is perfectly placed on the thirds and it 'spot-lights' the Bridge perfectly.

Lovely composition - I love whacky perspectives like this. How close can you focus with the 17-40mm? I was thinking of getting one for my 5DM2.

Its an excellent and relatively inexpensive (for a L series) lens Rob. You can focus pretty close. I am going from memory here but I am sure I have focused down to around 300mm no problem.
