OMG! Stunning (and somewhat scary?) conditions. It was bright and sunny when I was there in 1983. All the best for Christmas and the New Year John Smile

That is a phenomenal shot John, you've caught a rare glimpse of the conditions at this altitude. Well worth the effort for such a lovely image.

Brilliant image. As we look into the image, it is as if we are being drawn into the unknown future.

Thanks Ian, bit of a rushed snapshot if truth be told as I was desperate to get down out of the -10C windchill as my hands had stopped working and were very painful.

Worth all the effort John, an incredible image with a sense of vunerability !!! Ice crystal powder too, very cold indeed.
