This is the Rideau Canal in Ottawa where it joins the Ottawa River. As you can see it becomes rather frozen in winter and in fact there is a section in the middle of Ottawa that becomes a skating rink for much of the winter,

I usually like my snow scenes in colour, but I do prefer the mono version here Jason.
