'Scape - September

The response to this month's competition, sponsored by Realviz and Northscape, was overwhelming. More of you entered this competition than any other over the last year.

ePHOTOzine member and Northscape co-owner Keith Henson was in charge of choosing the shortlist and was suitably impressed by your creativity.

The task of  selecting the winner was left to Gary Wolstenholme, as Pete's schedule took an unexpected turn for the busy.

The winner is Chris Conway. His surreal handscape is a brilliant interpretation of the theme. Great imagination, coupled with superb work in Photoshop. Congratulations Chris!!

Second place goes to Angela Joel, for her excellently composed landscape image. The driftwood and pebbles in the foreground captures your attention immediately, while the contrast between the warm tones of the shore and the mauve of the sky completes the image.

Third place is taken by another superb piece of manipulation by Gerry Sexton. His 'Dreamscape' wouldn't be out of place in a David Lynch film.

And finally, Stacey takes fourth spot. Her image depicts the paradise that many of us probably dream of escaping to.
