Yes! I can see Mcfade's influence at work here!

I like this, in fact I like Ade's architectural stuff as well and I think that I would have drawn a comparison, even if you hadn't mentioned it.
I've been really stuck for inspiration just lately. Even my 366 is suffering. However, I'm going into Luton tomorrow morning and by myself, for a change.
There are some opportunities like this over there, so perhaps I'll try something similar.

Thanks Stuart, this could be the wake-up call that I need!

Bren.

Are you off to Luton Bren?

Its just LR HDR simulation

Hi Ade Wink Its the other inspirational Ade - the Mcfade one. Smile
Your macro work and focus stacking is beyond me - though i hope to be trying some in the new year when my new garden gets going.

I was going to ask you about that.

Which version of LR are you using. I've still got 3.6 since I'm still (quite happily) using XP.
I had planned to use the HDR simulator in CS6. I guess it's much the same?

Hi Bren, I've got LR4.1 - it was my first LR. I also have elements 10. used that to straighten the verticals.
One the Develop Filters, user presets is "HDR Look" - although i think this is orig with product - i may wel have downloaded it too.

Its almost stopped raining down in Staines...

It stopped raining here too, except when I left home.

Luton was a waste of time.
The area where the buildings are that I'd had in mind was full of people going back and forth about there business and getting any decent shots would have been a nightmare.
In town, however, there's a shopping precinct which is usually deserted on Sundays, particularly in the afternoon.
The buildings aren't as photogenic as the ones I'd earmarked in Luton but they might suffice, I'm only going to give it a go, after all. The library's got lots of bronze coloured windows for example. I'll have to see, I guess.
