felixstowe pier

I wanted some moody shots of felixstowe pier on a grey day by the north sea, after all not all seaside shots are sunshine and ice cream, especially in the UK! The pier is being dismantled next year so I hope I captured a sense of nostalgia as well. The irony in this shot is the fact the pier is deemed unsafe, hence it is coming down, yet these supports stand strong against the north sea. I used filters and slow shutter to capture the mood.
