Killer Boots Brighton Pride 2011.
I cover all of the outdoor events in Brighton every year. Gay Pride has to be my favourite. Every time I set myself the challenge of taking images that are different and will stand out from the rest. I talk to people a lot when I'm out shooting, everyone was avoiding the puddles so I had to coax them in. I recognised the potential of the puddles as soon as I arrived and got to work. This was my favourite of the day because it somehow sums up the event without being too obvious. The treatment has been applied to enhance the colours and lines, strengthen the graphic shapes in the image and to add an "hipstomatic" modern feel to the image.
