In May's competition we set you the challenge of recording an impressive vista, so you could win yourself a copy of the most impressive version of Vista - Vista Ultimate Pour Homme. We asked for impressive, and that's what we got, along with a picture of a flower and a small child - a dunces cap for the pair of you. Anyway, judging the competition was fairly difficult. Not as hard as the north face of Everest, but more tricky than randomly pulling the winner out of the hat. Of course, the good news was that there were three winners, each receiving that shiny black box of uber-OS goodness. So, the first winner was Tommaso Rusmi with his rolling Tuscany fields with poppies. Great composition and a beautiful vista indeed. Next up was Darren Birkin with his low light image of the London waterfront. Great colours and composition plus technical competance made for a very enjoyable image. And the third winner, and this was sooo difficult to pick one out, was Mark Tierney's picture of Dustanburgh Castle which beat off a handful of other entries with a large stick to walk away with the prize. We loved the shiny rocks, the pounding waves and the light catching the castle ruins. Well done to the winners and all those shortlisted.
