Travel terms & Conditions
1) The prize must be booked by 31 July 2007.
2) The prize is subject to availability and can be taken any time before 31/10/07, excluding the period 1/8/07 until 31/8/07. Early booking is recommended.
3) The prize winner will be selected by a panel of judges including Daniel Lezano, editor of Digital SLR Photography, ePHOTOzine’s Pete Bargh and Jeremy Gilbert from Nikon. Failure to be able to get in contact with the prize winner will result in a new winner being selected.
4) Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-changeable. There is no cash alternative offered.
5) Any changes to flight time and/or date of travel, once booked, will carry a change fee. Route changes are not permitted.
6) The holiday is for two adults (aged 18 years or over) and two children (up to 11 yrs of age) travelling together, with return economy flights from London. Accommodation is based on a family room for four people, on a room-only basis, plus activities as described at time of winning. All additional room expenses are at the winner’s cost.
7) The holiday can be extended to add people or extra days at the winner’s own cost.
8) Should any element of the prize (e.g. restaurant or tour bookings) become unavailable at any time, the promoter reserves the right to cancel without notice or obligation, or to substitute item of similar value at the promoters’ discretion.
9) The promoters are not responsible for any delay or cancellation of any element of the prize or for any inability of the prize-winner or their guest to take up the prize.
10) The promoters reserves the right to cancel this promotion without notice or obligation, and reserve the right to substitute prize of similar value should the specified prize become unavailable.
11) The winner is solely responsible for travel to and from the UK airport, and any other travel outside the prize holiday. The winner and their family are responsible for passports, and visas if required, travel & medical insurance, plus all other expenses including meals, refreshments, spending money and any other incidental expenses.
12) Transfer to onwards destinations would be at prize winners cost, and are not the responsibility of the promoters.
13) The partners in this promotion accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury caused by, or to, the prizewinner or their guest, or their property whilst taking the prize.
14) Any alternative travel arrangements made by the winner would be at the winners expense.
15) The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding selection of the prize winner.
GENERAL terms & Conditions
1) The closing date for uploading your entry is 20 April 2007.
2) Due to the nature of the prize, only UK residents are eligible to enter.
3) The competition is open to amateur photographers only, professional photographers (defined as those who earn the majority of their income from photography) are ineligible.
4) Only one entry per person. Anyone found to enter multiple entries will be disqualified.
5) All entries must be uploaded via www.ePHOTOzine.com. Information about the competition can also be found at www.nikon.co.uk/winad40 and www.digitalslrphoto.com.
6) The competition sponsors reserves the right to free reproduction of entries in all publicity related to this contest including websites and printed matter. However copyright remains with the photographer.
7) Any entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
8) The prizes are as stated and no cash or alternative prizes can be offered.
9) Employees of Halo Publishing, Nikon, ePHOTOzine and the Canadian Tourism Commission are not eligible to enter.
