It seems an unusual move for an electronics company to add a flash shoe to a camera, especially when half the traditional camera names don't! It's just one of the things that Epson have done in there range of digital products to establish themselves as a Photo specialist. They also use a Hyper Picture Technology to boost the 3.3 million pixels to 4.8 million so A3 prints can be produced. Shame the lens isn't as sharp as its competitors.
