I have done two video shoots for this camera to test the zoom. One was shot in day light while another was shot in the dark using a tripod.
The youtube links are as under:

Panasonic DMC FZ70 zoom test at 60X during the day

Panasonic DMC-FZ70 Zoom test at 60X in the dark

The camera is known by the DMC-FZ70 in India

Video is fantastic at 60X zoom. When the subject is moving, auto focus tends to lose track. Auto focus is slow, otherwise it is a great camera. The images are fantastic. The camera is easy to handle if you know the purpose of Aperture, Shutter etc, otherwise one would be stuck at auto mode. The case that comes along with the camera is small and slightly tight.
