The Strobeam DL250 Mark III is a portable flash with studio flash features. It's a 250w/s head powered by a shoulder pack battery that delivers 1200 flashes from full charged, and can keep flashing at up to 8fps*. * Company website currently says 14 fps, and recycle time 0.2secs. We managed 8 fps in our test, although when the battery power was reduced to about half capacity it only managed 5fps.

With a guide number of 60m (ISO 100 @ 105mm) the Di866 features Nissin’s original ‘My TTL’ user adjustable TTL light output level and is firmware upgradable thanks to an onboard USB port. The gun also features high speed synchronisation and a fill in sub-flash (12m100 ISO), which is activated while the main flash is bounced and also has a built-in wide angle diffuser and catch-light reflector.

Canon Speedlite 580EX II
Further development of Canon's flagship Speedlite has led to the production of the 580 EX II. This is the premier Speedlite for all photographers, including professionals. Newly designed to match with the EOS-1D Mark III in terms of improved dust- and water-resistance, body strength, and the ability to control flash functions and settings from the camera menu (EOS-1D Mark III only). Other features include improved communication reliability through its direct contacts, and recycling time is both 20% shorter than the 580EX and is completely inaudible.
