HDR is a bit hit n miss, it works on some images but not others. However I love using it and find hard textures like stone, bricks works well.

Lenses for a Nikon D810

If doing panos then you will get more detail taking several shots using longer lenses than taking just a couple with wideangles. Less chance of distortion issues too.
