Oh dear, even the styling didn't save that one Stuart. :D And re Queen, I got the very same effect trying to photograph fish in a dim pool yesterday. Polariser was useless. I deleted my embarrassments. x

To be honest, I had not given it much thought, but once you made the comment I realised that the RAID is in (or attached to) your computer all the time whereas a back up can be stored elsewhere against whetever evils lurk in the future. Sometimes 'stating the bleedin' obvious' has its benefits. :D

Hacked e mails

Just curious, if you don't run an AV how do you know you've never had a virus or malware ? I keep an eye on my machine routinely at a low level. But there is a massive amount of hyp...

Thank you, yes, I like the treasure hunt idea perhaps with an alphabet theme. If I could link that up with the story telling idea of Sue's too, I think that could be fun :)

Thanks everyone. I think the best thing to do is choose a letter like Brian has and then update the folder location like lobsterboy says. One reason I didn't want to do that however is all the actions I have in PS end up saving files to the old drive letter. I could change all of them but it seems easier to change the portable drive letter back to what it was.

I'd like to test the latest Tamron 18-270mm PZD lens because - If my 18 250mm is the best thing since sliced bread, then the 18-270mm must be better than sliced buttered bread with jam on it!!!!

Think outside the box and give yourself a hard challenge, which will need a lot of thought and working out, but don't make it beyond the scope of the kit you have...... My challenge to myself this next year is to try and get some shots of night flying moths, especially species of Hawkmoths in flight at night, preferably full frame images!.......Once the warmer months start around March keep ...

No project as such, but doing as much strobist stuff as I can as it's honing the skills for those paid portrait sessions. :-)
