Gotta say I like my Crumpler bag, especially now i understand the third leg idea! i actually use if as extra secutrity when I'm out by looping throught my belt. That way if the bag is grabbed there is still an attachment! The inside if far more easier to manage than a convential rucksack, for me at least, with plenty of room for a days shoot.

Been reading these threads keenly - can someone who owns one confirm whether the slingshot (either model?) will hold a 20D with the 17-40L lens attached? I currently have a crumpler which has been fine until I upgraded to the 20D and several lenses - now I find I need something bigger.... Many thanks, Debbie

I have a Wee Bee...... and its great!! Its actually a laptop bag, but the camera with a 70-300mm lens fits neatly in the padded laptop section. In the main compartment I can get 2 smaller lenses, the angle finder, bottle of drink ;o) wallet, and chocolate. The pocket in the lid holds spare cards and batteries, and the front pocket fits loads of other stuff. The straps a decent length a...

If you live in/near London, there is a Jacobs(?) with a big Jessops opposite on New Oxford Street, quite a good selection there. Interestingly between purchasing the original crumpler bag-that’s-too-small and going back the other week, Jessops no longer seem to sell the crumpler range. Speedgraphic have a good selection -But also no longer seem to sell Crumpler??, but to confuse you more, t...

Just a warning about Crumpler bags; I have a Crumpler Sporty Guy camera bag for my Minolta F200 and found that the dye from the orange fabric used for the inner of the bag bled and stained my camera. OK, doesn't affect the workings of the camera but doesn't look great on something you've spent good money on! Chris

I've got a shrinkle. It is huge (too big for me infact). It takes 2 bodies, several lenses, filters, flash, laptop and wires. It is comfortable to carry too.

Hi Mikey, It basically has the one main compartment with moveable dividers. I can get my Nikon D100 with 24 - 70 attached and a sigma 70 - 300 no problem. It also has a pouch at the front for memory cards, filters etc. Hope this helps! Cheers Nik

The thing that was steering me away from the trekker was the lack of padding/protection compared to the Crumpler and the other Lowepro

I had a look at your thread above, Frank. With all those cries of "Show us your bags" I was tempted to add "Show us your knickers". What a Carry On!!! :-)) Jas

I'm a Crumpler user but not for my camera. I picked up a Super Snipe from Ebay for 15 but didn't realise I'd have to spend in the region of 40 for the insert that makes it suitable for camera use. However, the "third leg" (oo-er) makes it an unbelievably comfy and stable bag to use for my clothing on the commute to work (I cycle in). It's by far the best courier bag I've ever used.
