No matter what media you use weather film or digital you will always work on the image So very true, and in that process make subjective and creative choices as to how it is worked, thereby affecting the end result.

Hiya Just thought I would clear somethings up :) The shot is done on Bulb and its all about reflection, I like the highlights the off camera flash gives - yes it is tailor made light painting , the tutorial was for people that dont necessarily have access to lighting andl was aimed at Amateurs and enthusiasts alike , Thanks for the comments regards Dylan www.dylantog.com:)

Thanks Keith. Put better than I could but in essence what I meant. I was going to hold up Ericfarager as an example of this, he's distinctly himself and you can immitate but he's the original.

My impression from following similar discussions ad very nauseam, is that modern art is now fairly old, and since the era of modern art we've been through post modern and are now coming out the other end into something we haven''t yet agreed a name for. Nice to know that there are plenty of M42 screw lenses available. I've got two Praktica's, an L and an L2. Might get them out and use them again, if I can find my lightmeter. They're much easier to focus with the split image. They certainly stand up to rougher treatment than the modern camera's.

I just read a paragraph in a science book discussing the difference between sensation and perception. Obviously the 2 are linked but the dividing line is somewhat blurred.. In essence, our eyes all essentially see the same 2D image however, it is the the perception that enhances the sensation by involving memories of being there when a photo is taken such as temperature, sound etc. In other wor...
