In a nutshell NO/YES. I took great pride in learning the Ansel Adams Zone system technique, which worked for B&W as well as for colour. You've got PSP 8, why not upgrade to PSP X? It's usually only one or two versions behind PS (i.e. usually what PS has in this version PSP will have in one of the next two). I've never really understood how such an expensive program has become so popular with the general public who, like Tim says, probably only get 10% out of it. Ashley
