Oh I was wondering about that myself... it's like a never ending pass the parcel, several layers to unwrap, several more surprises everytime you play with it!

For on-line tutorials, I've looked at THIS web site a few times for help.

Paul, really odd that you posted yours. Only yesterday I thought about reviving this one. I think it's good to try and keep them in one place? Some of the tips have been souseful too. If Pete wanted to turn this and other tips threads into an article I don't think anyone would have objections. It would be a useful resource and make a good article.

I started playing with PS about 3 years ago and although I've hardly accumulated any true insight into the programme I really enjoyed what I COULD do with it. From there I decided that to further my kowledge I would need images I'd made myself-SO I bought a Fuji s602z, not because I wanted to take photos -because I wanted to explore PS.Have kind of got hooked and got me an Olympus e300 and I s...

Thanks Jeni. I'm genuinely hoping that the owners of the site can consider placing some sort of "sticky content" for items such as these that are regularly discussed. and probably boring for regular and more experienced users. Sometimes the use of the forum search isn't always quick or easy to navigate. (not a criticism, just an observation ;-) Question for Moderators/Pete....do you ...

Wonder if someone can help with opening RAW files with CS3. I've got an older version of Photoshop CS and I downloaded the RAW DNG converter plug in for use with my Nikon D40, I took shots in black and white and they open fine in there. However, when my girlfriend tried opening them on her Mac Book with CS3, the thumbnails were still in black and white but when she opened the image it was full ...

Thanks for the links. Got the wife an iPod for Christmas so have iTunes installed on my desktop now. Will check links out later as I am a big fan of Scott Kelby.

You've got PSP 8, why not upgrade to PSP X? It's usually only one or two versions behind PS (i.e. usually what PS has in this version PSP will have in one of the next two). I've never really understood how such an expensive program has become so popular with the general public who, like Tim says, probably only get 10% out of it. Ashley
