Do it in stages - just a wee bit behind....then a bit more......tehn a bit more. Start at the furthest point and work forwards adding the new bit and giving that and the old bit the same amount (hope that makes sense)

Try Photoshop TV there is a tutorial dealing with hair in episode 12 I think, its the 3 part tutorial by Scott Kelby on using channels for selections, Quicktime 7 is needed to view

Could any body please help , Iam looking to find a tutorial that i believe was in photoshop user magazine in either april , may or june of this year ? The tutorial was provided by Corey Baker, the example provide was of a photograph of a jazz musician, and involved using various steps including patterns, layers etc and involved using the find edges tool. Yeah, i agree the distinction is always going to be difficult to pick out. i just wanted to point out that there were issues there, and share how i personally deal with them. I wasn't trying to say i'd covered every angle of the debate cause it's obviously a huge one!

If sky counts as background, this was taken in Venice. The bell tower does lean like this, it's not lens distortion.
