To Sue, There isn't a thing you can do about reactolite glasses going dark. As soon as the wearer goes outisde, they will darken a bit. If the pro pictures you looked at made the groom like a gangster - well - that isn't the togs fault!

Questions on technique
Maybe get a friend to drive past so you can be sure they won't hit the brakes? Maybe get them to stick their rear fog lights on to boost the light trail deffinition? But yeah, go with all other methods of lengthening exposure before filtration. I don't think a grad filter would help if you go with the same composition as it'll darken the top part of the car. Also, be wary of a polarizer remo...

Image>Match Colour.... When the dialog box opens up tick 'neutralize' and adjust the three sliders to get the desired/satisfactory effect. Since your colour cast is restricted to one area o...

On reflection.....
But then what do I know.... You have an opinion just like everyone else. For analysing images, it doesn't matter that you don't know how to use GNDs. It does matter, however, that you know whether you like the image or not and why. I have the same view of blurred water (quite like it) and bright reflection (just looks odd).

polarising filters
Many thanks for replies... just one thing - "As a rule use a circular filter if you have an autofocus camera or a manual focus model with a spot meter such as the Canon T90." from the guide on this site if using a manual focus canon T70 or Nikon FM2 (M/F also), can i use a circular OR a linear? are there any further disadvantages to each type? Thanks! a very happy christmas t...

Talking about kit is tedious... ?
Well "getting buildings right" is a technique that is kit-independent, same applies to canon as nikon etc. techniques are "how" we do things kit relates to the tools we use take the humble hammer - we use those to hammer nails in. the technique however is to hold the nail in the place we want it to enter the wood, then accelerate the flat part of the hammer towards the head of the n...
