Ooops. I decided to put the still images of the cards back up on the page where the slide show was, and somehow managed to mess up the loading of the slide show, so it stopped working. So, thanks everyone for your comments, but for the time being the slide show is off my site again. Natalie :)

Pro-show is complete crap when it comes to output on DVD for playback on a regular TV - this is even when you use the HQ settings and high pixel count. The highest resolution u can get for DVD is 720 x 550 DPI at 25 FPS - its really doesnt work on your standard widescreen - looks awful. I havent the guts to give my wedding clients this crap.

Peter - quite right. This is a photo board! The problem is that most of us fly and most of us don't know what is happening! I've been flying for over 50 years and I am reluctant to fly today. Carabosse - Yep! I'm one of them! I recall travelling on Concorde at Mach 2 - much faster than a rifle bullet - and drinking gin and tonic. We were up at 70K feet and you could see the earth's curv...

It's L! not I Dunno if you mean second part of first one or second one itself. If you mean this slideshow the second 'song' is Baz Lurhman's 'Sunscreen'. If you mean that slideshow then it's The Beatles 'Birthday'

I really really want to learn loads of things...at the moment RAW is my main one.As I was scanning your tuturials I saw this one and yes LAYERS is another thing I need to find out about. I got lost at this stage... "Ok, so first we open up one of the images. I'll start with the background scene." Yes it's stage one.......where do I open it ? Are we all using the same p/shop etc and when I...

It won't work even in the laptop Phil, so it is not the disk. I'll give it a go without the menus. I don't suppose PSG puts the shows into separate chapters does it, to make it easy to jump to the second show? Ian

Stevep55 I can understand your frustration and I'm surprised your offer to join the committee was refused. My club is asking for new member's to join the committee at our AGM next week and we actively encourage (cajole, bribe, etc.) new members to join in. Plainly though not all clubs are the same and if you don't like one why not try another? Simon

Interesting job advert from Adobe. Is this for enhanced features in LR 4 perhaps ? The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom team at Adobe Systems is looking for a superior software engineer to help grow our quality-focused team. You must enjoy working with the members of the development team as much as you do working with product managers, user research teams, and customers to discover how to delight ...

As Dcash said the ephotozine directory of clubs is very useful. I'm 4 weeks into my local club and realise i've just learnt loads (despite spending the last 3 years reading Mags and lurking and chirping in epZ), Ive met some really nice people too. Yes i try and go early and hang around to help clear up, its easier to get to know people that way and share ideas.

With this being the case, does anyone know if Mr Lovegrove is doing a talk again this year and if so at which stand? Gav PS shame about the EPZ stand not being there. I enjoyed meeting the people I have known from on here for the past 4 years.
