Paul are you suggesting seriously that it's two different photographers. Look at the steam out of the chimney, you'd have to expose at exactly the same time for the same length of time to match that. If you can go there and take your own photograph that looks as identical as those two do then I'll give you ten thousand pounds.

You may be interested in the outcome of this story about "stolen" images too.. I am a street photographer in New York City. Several months ago, I was approached by a representative of DKNY who asked to purchase 300 of my photos to hang in their store windows "around the world." They offered me $15,000. A friend in the industry told me that $50 per photo was not nearly enough to receive from ...

Nothing that I'm aware of - which is why this should be attractive... Mike/Frank is there anything else out there you've both tried and had success with, i'm keen to see if any of my stuff has been used elsewhere. jk No, nothing I know about either. : ( I found some of my photos, more by accident really. I was doing a search of some places in the local area, and clicked on google image...

Stolen images

Not sure exactly what they mean or how they intend to enforce that statement... Viewing the image requires that it be downloaded. duh! Yes, I suppose they can determine the IP address to which the photo has been transfered, but I cannot see how they can determine if it was saved, etc... Just a scare tactic that keeps the honest people honest. Those that know better disregard such stat...

Do you have a bank account and if so, are you responsible for keeping the money safe in the vault? LOL. Okay, lets take that analogy a bit further. There's a bank on the high street, where you can leave your money, but they just put it in a box, open to the public, with no security at all. They are open about the fact that the money is free for anyone to pick up and I accept their terms and ...

I agree. Deletion looked like the easy fix and it might yet still work; when I last tried it was telling me that there's a 'server error.' I've found that that's not uncommon using 'Google sites,' I've built a few and it always seems to eventually right itself. Either way, it's not causing me a problem so I'm not particularly concerned. I suppose really that I should feel flattered!

I've submitted a report to the team about this, for both copyright and having two users on one account.

+1 66tricky - if you're really worried about stuff being copied don't put it on the net. I'm not sure, but I think the issue of image theft is, for most of us at least, not likely to be a big problem. An annoyance yes, but a problem, probably not. If someone nicked one of my images I'd be a bit irritated (but probably secretly a tiny bit pleased someone liked it enough to nick it - but maybe no...

The proof lies in the fact that your watermark appears on them, if they have not paid for them send them an invoice, back it up with information readily available on the net, have a look at THIS for some advice.

This is a great web application. However, I had problems scanning my web pages. Only tagging a few images in one go, I had to select (zoom) each image individually to get it to work. Could it be because my site uses PHP, a server side language? Will give that other tool ago and see if any different. Works brilliantly on Alamy though. Already found three instances of un-invoiced imag...

Hi there cod guy, My respects for you serving your country, I believe the reference to your work ect was made in the belief you was the David Elder that has been found to be a thief of others work and feelings running high about this as many on here value the hard work and time they put into it as I'm sure you do. I've re-read through the thread and that's how it comes over to me,I'm sure no ...
