I did sort of but I wasn't sure. I may well pick it up and know it's not right, I did that with a Canon many years ago and that started my love on Nikon. It's got to fit my hand and want to be there.

That's why I got rid of the (well-regarded) Canon S100. It just didn't feel right, and I didn't feel like using it.

I now have a smaller and, arguably, more fiddly compact (Sony TX55) but it feels better somehow!

It's so important to me that I have a 3 hour drive tomorrow. But I am loyal to the shop too so am even happy to pay a little more to them than I could get it online.

I wonder if there is actually a physical difference between Canon and Nikon uses that makes one person prefer one over the other in the hand, other than the knuckles dragging on the ground of the common Canon user that is. (I'd insert a smiley here but I hate them)

Nice, but I think the Fuji case has a flap you can open to replace the battery or change the card.

Here`s some extras I was talking about.

This guy does that as an option too I think.

I like that thumb grip, I can see that working well. I will have a play with the camera and see if I think I need one. The soft release is very clear and simple, I like it.

Thanks Paul some good little accessories that might just find their way into my shopping basket. If of course I get the camera!

Yeh but there pricey for what they are, I keep meaning to make myself one Smile

Though this one does not look to bad.

Soft releases are really useful, its amazing what you can get away with hand held at low shutter speeds.

This is just the sort of stuff EPZ should be reviewing Smile

Would be good. I doubt I would have found either the grip or the soft release if you hadn't mentioned them.

The case is expensive, but so it the camera! I looked at the Fuji one just now, it's nice too.

Yes there are expensive, think I paid about 70 for the case for my x10.

It makes you want to pick the camera up and use it even more.

Enjoy Smile

The only problem I am having is opening the RAW files on my PC. I've updated the RAW plugin - I've downloaded the SilkyPic software from Fuji and still nothing will open.
