    Steve McCurry did an hours documentary on this about how he went to find that young girl. It was a wonderful program shown on TV.

    The original photo of this girl is one of my favorite portraits of all time.

    No can.t remember but try Afghan Girl or look at Steves website. It was a fantastic program tho. If you find it place a link here.

    "The search for the Afghan girl" was a TV programme made in 2003 and is available as a DvD, here but I can only find one dodgy looking site offering it as a free download.
