Let's kick off with the first managerial casualty then, since Jim Jefferies has been sacked as the Hearts manager, but apparently might be offered Director of Football instead!

Bloody hell, sacked already. One day we'll see a manager sacked during halftime of the first match of the season. Seems he's not interested in the director job.

Elsewhere, Newcastle tell Joey Barton to go away.

Maybe Chris Hughton will take him to Birmingham, since most of their players seem to be leaving!

Looks like the wheels are coming off at Sid James' Park. Following Barton being told he can leave on a free, Enrique next one to leave?

Ditto that; Barton is a swear word!

    Sir Fergie won't want Barton.
We don't need him and we don't want him.
He may of cleaned his act up recently but he is still a liability for any club to take on.

Joey Barton is scum, and trouble waiting to happen. His agent seems to think they are queueing up for him. Pity the team who get them.

    [quote]Joey Barton is scum,

Scum is what I get in my bath at high water level, never seen Joey Barton thereWink

I might have known a mackem would stick his nose in here to have a go at us Toonies. Newcastle never won a game last season when Barton was missing. It sounds as though there was another dressing room "conference/bust-up/row, or whatever" after that defeat by Leeds at the weekend, and in which Barton was possibly involved. I suppose our yardstick for the coming season will be how we perform in our first game against Arsenal.
Oh and Mr. mackem, that was a very hurtful remark about Sid James Park, although verging on slight hilarity.Smile But do you not recall the old days when your lot played at Joker Park ? So to bury that you moved to the Stadium of S*ight.GrinTongueWink
