I'm surprised to hear Fabio Capello's resigned as England's manager, it's not like an Italian to leave a sinking ship.

    ...Smile

I hope Redknapp doesn't get the England job - his lot stuffed us yesterday. On the other hand I hope he gets it, then we won't get a stuffing next season. Football phone in on Friday night - facts quoted re Spurs v. Us, in all the games ever played at White Hart Lane, there have been very few goal-less draws. And always plenty of goals, with I think, if I recall correctly, Newcastle being the higher scorers. Built my bloody hopes up no end.Sad

    That's all of them then.

Well done Sunderland after yesterday, and I'm a Magpie. For the next few days Mackems can be honorary Geordies.Grin

And if you are having a look in here Redhed17, the Brighton team will also be honorary Geordies by about 6.20pm. In fact, if they stop a certain Andy Carroll from scoring, I will buy them a pint - between them.Smile

Call yourself a Geordie? I'd never side with Everton, and definitely not admit to it in public. Wink

Damn that Andy Carroll, he could have made you dip into your pocket polis_928tadw59. And he even had to go that step further and get voted man of the match, doesn't he know he's supposed to stay cr*p for the bitter Geordies. Wink

Aye, it's a funny old game football. Looks like Sunderland might get to Wembley. You'd better get knocked out before then , Redhed17. Not bothering to watch the Mickey Mouse Cup this weekend.Tongue

There are only three domestic cups, and one European trophy, (if you're lucky) to win each year, with the 'success' Newcastle have had 'recently', I don't think they should consider any potential silverware as 'Mickey Mouse'. Wink

You've got to be in it to win though eh!. Wink lol

Looks like it could be more worrying than first thought to be a Wolves fan. Sad

Total change of plan by the Wolves owners.

I always have a bet on one of the finalists in an English Cup Final. It started in 1974 when I backed the Toon, and they lost. Ever since then each finalist I have placed a bet on has failed to win a trophy. Cardiff - no don't fancy them, placing a bet on Liverpool.TongueGrin

As a Leeds United fan - yes, there are one or two of us - I was surprised and pleased to hear that Terry Connor had landed the Wolves hot-seat. He began his Leeds first team playing career back in 1979, going on to score 22 goals in 108 appearances. I wish him every success in his new position.

Oh dear.....sounds like it could be crunch time for Arsene judging by all the partisan hand-wringing going on at certain media outlet(s) in the build up to tomorrow's game vs Spurs.

What is it about Arsenal that has organisations like the bbc paying so much flippin' lip service to the point of blatant favouritism in my severely learned opinion? Tongue
