Yep but you'll need to buy a thread adapter - costs about 80p so I'd advise you to get it at the same time you order the other bits.
Mine cost £2.50 to post Smile

Adrian, What Joan means is Your talkin a Manfrotto head onto a Velbon tripod.

Velbon tripods use the same thread mount as the one under your camera...Smile

    Manfrotto use the bigger thread....Sad

So you need the thread adapter to be able to use the Man head on Velb Pod......Smile

No probs Joan...all sorted...the reason for the post is that perchance I spotted someone who wanted one....they have a Velbon tripod and before I sold them mine which incidentally I have hardly ever used was to ensure that they could use it OK

    Cheers

Adrian, nice to meet you and thanks for the sale Smile When I looked at the velbon head I had, it actually had a thread adaptor in it already, so just unscrewed it and poped in the the manfrotto, sorted! Popped over to Skears as well, as they had the top plate in stock.

Going out to Twywell hills & dales this afternoon with hubby and the dogs for a walk, so tripod tryout time. Had a play in the house last night and much better than my old one.
