Can anyone tell me if I can get the 450D to show which focus point I used when I review the images in camera like the 50D does, or is it possible.

Have you read the manual??? On a 40D it's on page 117 and I think it was around there on my 350D.
Press the playback button - lower left of screen.
Select the image you want - turn the big wheel.
Press the "INFO" button (fourth from left at the bottom of the screen on the 40D) and on one of the options (keep pressing the INFO button) it will show you the focus point/s.
This aplies to the 40D and 350D so probably also on the 450D.
Hope this helps.
Hi Caveman, have read the manual, no mention of it. The 450D & 400D have the cross key type of controls not the wheel.
I've got the 400D and, like you say, no wheel on that. I'm not aware of any function in camera that will show the focus point when reviewing images. Obviously the focus point is selectable during the taking of photos.
I'm guessing the 400D and 450D operate in pretty much the same way.
You can show it in Canon's Zoombrowser software, but not in camera (not to my knowledge!).
Hope that helps.
I've got a work colleague with a 450D so I'll have a look at it next time I see him. I would suggest however that Metalhead has the answer.
Oh well, we tried!
Thanks again for you help.
