They're really cheap and nasty cameras, but are fun to use...and are sold for a premium price now they're being packaged as "creative tools"... The book shows some brilliant effects. Here's one I took with one a while ago. I used slide film which is not idea because the cameras have limited exposure control. This was taken in evening light and the camera has grossly underexposed but that adds to the red flash effect. It's all trial and error.

I was testing a film duplicator that I'd just picked up and hadn't realised how dirty the system was so excuse the dust on this pic. I need to clean up before I use again, but I didn't see this when I was trying it out for the first time.

Seriously, once I have bought some film - something I haven't done for a while now - I will give it a go! In the meantime, the book is great fun to read!
