On a separate thread I asked for help regarding taking shots with the sun in front on you. One element that has come up is a graduated filter for more than just a full on sun shot. I can see much value with a cloudy sky when using spot metering. Soooo, looking on flea bay there seems to be many at the just a few pounds mark. Does anyone have a suggestion or recommendation to run with on a first graduated filter?

Who are flea bay ?
An online photographic store SpeedGraphic do a range of graduated filters from Lee & Cokin
On eBay you will find a complete kit - filter holder, several ND grads and an adapter ring of your required size - for about £12 including postage direct from China. That is a great inexpensive way to start. Don't go spending £180 on a Lee holder and single filter at this stage (or maybe ever).
Thanks LF, I'll give them a try. Much appreciated.
