    In the main I agree with what Keith has said. but playing devils advocate, he mentions a signature in a metaphoric sense, but like a true signature it varies with time, my signature is barely recognisable to one 20 years ago, but you hardly notice a difference from one year to the next.

    No matter what programmes/ cameras / lenses you use, not to say "actions" to mimic a style, you will always consciously, or subconsciously make adjustments to your own preferences ( personally the only actions I now use are those I have put together, for things like sharpening / resizing etc).
