You sure have a good way of explaining that companionship you get from your dog, mine is similar in that it knows what mood I am in, good or bad and and always stays close by, my car is it's car and I very often find her in the drivers seat before me waiting for her next outing, she knows and goes almost everywhere with me.
I hope and trust that pica's operation will be 100% successful.

Best of luck to the 3 of you. A good dog is more than a pet, it's a friend and like all friends you share their pain. Hope he comes out of it well and has plenty more years of good quality life.
