Truthful - we all know this but often try to avoid acknowledging it - and confronts two facts that can't be escaped:
1. Getting better means moments of seeing stuff as crap
2. If you make a living creating things (obviously not photographs in my case), you have to try and be perfectionist but also you have to let it go when you know it isn't perfect, just the best you can do for now - and this is a hard balancing act which always leads to 1.

Thanks - I had a TIA (mini-stroke) on Friday and it scared the pooh out of me - this has helped put it into context
