I can't remember the last time I printed anything borderless. Very little point as all my prints are either mounted or mounted & framed. A borderless print will have at least 10mm effectively cropped by the mountboard aperture. Other prints that require whitespace between the image and mount will have been printed smaller in the first place.

On the rare occasions that I attach the picture directly to a backing board the whole thing is trimmed afterwards to create sharp edges so again no real need to print borderless.

That's what I was thinking. All my stuff has a large border for titling, signing and then mounting.

I have Epson 3800, truly amazing amazing printer, and now i am looking to buy another printer for so large formats prints, 3800 is more than enough from 4x6 up to A2.
