I have an old Epson colour printer but wondered if anyone could recommend a decent A4 colour printer under say £150 with reasonable cost cartridges?
I plan to print contact sheets or some A4 prints for framing.
    Thanks.

I got a Canon Pixma IP6600D, the new model is the IP6700D. Ink refills are about £9 each (6 inks). Very impressed with the prints, friends can't believe that photos i show them are printed at home!

Stick with Epson, no trouble getting an A4 for a lot less than £150 or even £100. even at PC World....6 individual colours.

I'd always choose HP but then again I don't buy the cartridges as I work for them! May be different when I retire.

This talk prompted me to buy a 265 but PC World wanted £70, paid £57 on Amazon.
I have an R200 but I use it with £1 cartridges, gonna keep this strictly epson and compare.

That is interesting, they sold one to me 3 weeks back for £50. PC world do change their prices a lot. I thought it was a good deal. No delivery charges either, pick up in store the next time I was passing.

Oh what a shame! You should have bought a Canon IP6700D.

    It's jolly good.
