Looks like a no-brainer to update, better high ISO noise reduction and 2EV step bracketing for HDR fans Wink

Though it looks like the Sony Japan site is overloaded so I might have to wait until it is released worldwide.

I'm going to try after work, but the worldwide release must be round the corner.

The A900 is due a press release today also I think.

I've just updated to V.4 and its a great improvement in noise reduction, ISO3200 was usable before in some instances, but now even more so, and going down to 1600 - 800 is really good.

The 2 stop bracketing I'll have to try in the field sometime in the week.

one minor irk with the firmware updates - does it really have to reset my file numbering each time?

Just make sure you have the last photo you took on the card you reboot with.

Denis.
